All the core races in 13th Age are available: human, dwarf, elf, gnome, half-elf, half orc and halfling. As well, the following 13th Age optional races are available in Tolrendor: Dragonborn (Draconic) and Tiefling. A Tolrendor specific race available in this region is the half-dwarf, or Mul.

However, many of the racial back-stories from the Core rulebook are specific to the 13th Age Dragon Empire setting, and not applicable to Tolrendor.
